Operation Ava seeks forever home for Princess, a loving beagle mix

Princess is a very loving dog who was rescued, along with all of her puppies, from Kentucky. She's waited a long time for her forever home. Could it be yours?

Pretty, pretty Princess.

Princess is a very loving dog who arrived at Operation Ava’s adoption center eight months ago from the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society in Kentucky.  She was accompanied by her entire family – nine beautiful pups who were still nursing.

When the pups were ready for new homes they had a very easy time getting adopted. Puppies are just so cute, after all, and many adopters are looking for a dog they know will be around for a while.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t always bode well for the mothers. But, Operation Ava strives to take mother dogs along with their puppies because they want to make sure that the deserving mothers find homes, too. They take the extra step to make sure that the mothers are spayed so that they will not be having more puppies in the future.

“It’s all part of our mission to help end the pet overpopulation crisis that our country has been facing for decades,” says Operation Ava’s Ray Little.

Princess is a two-year old Beagle – Australian Cattle dog mix who would be best suited for a home with older children and no other pets.  Though she does get along with some pets, but she is selective.

“We think she has waited too long at our adoption center and we’re sure the right home is out there,” Little says of the loving dog.

If you’d like to have a pretty princess in your home, please contact Operation Ava and give this Princess the forever home she’s waited so long for.
