Dr. Seuss is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated authors in all of history. His stories provide life-long lessons to all of us through complex and interesting rhymes. It’s honestly hard enough to read through a Dr. Seuss book at normal speaking speed. So, imagine the fun when local celebrities are tasked with speed reading a Dr. Seuss book…all in the name of charity, of course. Watch Lu Ann Cahn, Reporter, NBC 10; Anne Ewers, CEO, The Kimmel Center; Lynn Doyle, Host, “It’s Your Call”, Comcast; Fran Dunphy, Coach, Temple Men’s Basketball; Kristen Graham, Inquirer Education Reporter and Pulitzer prize winner

Friday: Merian Soto Outdoor Dance Performance
If you subscribe to the mantra, “Dance like no one is watching,” then this mutlimedia event is right up your alley. Six dancers take to a parking lot of all places and combine movement to the sounds and images of nature. This performance spectacle, a sensory enchantment under the night sky, promises to rekindle the audience’s connection to nature. A free event, audiences explore the performance areas at their own pace, to allow their senses to be transported into a completely different environment. SoMoS aims to bring the audience en masse into an experience akin to a dream, a reverie on nature and our physical connection to it.
