Philadelphia’s Bitchin’ Homes, as you know, aren’t cheap. You can’t get a place in the perfect location, with all the ameneties you can dream up, and not expect to dig deep. But, as we’ll learn today, just because a home has a high price tag (and amazing views from the rooftop) doesn’t necessarily mean it deserves Bitchin Home status, or does it?
On paper, the condo at 610 South Front Street in Philadelphia sounds amazing.
Big,bold and beautiful! Waterfront views. Modern elegance WOW factors all around. Nearly 6000sf 4/5 br 4.5 bath ultra sophisticated city living. Upgrades and details galore, garage, permit parking, full expanse roof deck, outdoor kitchen, indoor salt water pool, an elevator, marble, hardwood, granite, steam showers, large closets, huge rooms gigantic master suite….but best of all 360 degree views!!! The unobstructed view of the Delaware river to the front and the center city skyline to the back. Breathtaking night or day the light and layout will amaze. So much detail, so much quality and LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Walk to Pennslanding, the Historic District, South Street, restaurants, night life, and shopping. Easy access to 95 N and S, 76 E and W, Columbus Blvd, and all bridges. Don’t wait nothing is like this one!
It sounds like a perfect fit for a Bitchin Home, right. Well, then they posted these photos and it has to make us second guess ourselves, which we really hate doing.
So, sure, the curb appeal leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s city living and you can’t update a facade as often as you can the interiors. We know this. It’s ok. But, the bad lighting on display doesn’t even begin to show off what’s going on inside. And the rooftop photos only show what we all know is there…views.
So, is this a Bitchin Home? It’s hard to say. There are certainly Bitchin tendencies like the outdoor kitchen and modern design. But, we just can’t tell from these photos. For $2.2 million, let’s hope so.
