MMN and FLOTUS combating childhood obesity hand in hand.
The tragic massacre in Aurora Colorado effected everyone in some way or another. And, for our dear Mayor Nutter, it was an opportunity to remind people of how bad the crime is in Philadelphia. He says that guns are the “weapon of choice” for Philadelphian murderers. If only we had a super hero to come in and clean the streets…without an assault rifle.
Nutter is a part of a gang of Mayors who are going after Mitt Romney’s tax returns. In a letter that all but demands the presidential candidate’s tax records, Nutter and others attempt a bully tactic to get what they want.
Remember when you auditioned to be John McCain’s vice presidential pick? You gladly handed over twenty-three years of tax returns. Now, as you audition for the American people, you think only one full year is good enough. It isn’t.
It turns out Nutter’s Obama love doesn’t just extend to the President, himself, but also to his better half. FLOTUS Michelle Obama was in town last week to talk about her Let’s Move City, Town, or County initiative that encourages community leaders to take responsibility for their city, town, or county’s childhood obesity problems.
