Lady Godiva could be your Teacher’s Pet

PAWS is featuring Lady Godiva, an adorable Chihuahua, all while offering teachers a special deal to get their furry friend before the school year starts.

Lady Godiva: what a darling.

I’m Lady Godiva, a sweet and shy 2-4 year old Chihuahua mix who was surrendered because my owner could no longer care for me. I would like to watch the world go by from the safety and comfort of your lap. Once I have an adopter I can love and trust, my personality will shine. Wouldn’t you love to share your heart and home with a cute girl like me? Please visit my foster mom’s website at www.lovefurall.com to learn more about me!

PAWS is also currently offering a Teacher Appreciation Special where you can adopt a Teacher’s Pet. Get it? Cute, right?
For a limited time, educators can name your own adoption fee. From now through the first day of school, educators can find that teacher’s pet for less. Our dogs and cats are looking for adopters who are loving, patient, and dedicated – what better match than with a teacher?

To get started:

And, don’t worry about having to grade any tests. At PAWS, they do the evaluating. They get to know each dog and cat to learn their individual personalities, needs, and energy levels so they can help make the best possible matches.

The special applies to all education professionals, including aides, support staff, tutors, early-education providers, and professors. It runs through September 7 (the first day of classes in the School District of Philadelphia).

Plenty of dogs and cats are waiting to become a “teacher’s pet.” Click here to meet them!
