Ms Goody Cupcake's "Sex & the City" Cosmo-inspired cupcake was featured last Friday.
Ms. Goody Cupcake — the same bakery that brought us a line of Hawiian-themed cupcakes in honor of the Philadelphia International Flower Show and beer and chocolate cake, with peanut butter filling, chocolate fudge topping, with peanuts on top in honor of Craft Beer Day and Philly Beer Week – is putting a sugary twist on a classic after work tradition with the debut of Cupcake Happy Hour. Every Friday this summer, Ms Goody Cupcake will debut a new cocktail-inspired cupcake. Flavors will include Pina Colada, Lime Margarita, Mimosa and Mojito. Between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., all cupcakes are also offered at a festive price of only $2.00. Cake truffles also are also joining the fun, with flavors like Pina Colada and Margarita.
“Our new Cupcake Happy Hour is a great way to escape from the pressures of real life and experience a sweet little bite of happiness,” said Owner Gigi Andrew. “Cocktail-inspired cupcakes can be a perfect end of a long week, or they can be just what you need to get the weekend party started!”
Ms Goody Cupcake also will cater to fan favorites by letting her customers and social media followers pick the final three themes. Winning suggestions will be awarded with a free six pack of the new flavor. If multiple persons suggest the same flavor, the winner will be selected through a random drawing.
