Mayor Nutter spent the scorching hot weekend hamming it up at a local car wash Grand Opening. No word on if he himself went through the car wash or just took some pictures with a guy in a green body suit amongst others. I don’t even want to know what that guy smelled like.
Nutter ordered that no water be given to the Occupy protesters out at the national gathering in Philadelphia despite the record-breaking temps. Ironic since he’s on the Presidents side with regards to awarding everyone with healthcare. “Access to affordable and quality health care is not only necessary, but also the moral compass by which our nation will be judged,” says Mayor Nutter. Not sure what moral compass he has, but it might be broken.
And because we couldn’t have said it better ourselves, an excerpt from Philly Magazine:
Mayor Michael Nutter—along with the mayors of Allentown, Erie, Reading and Pittsburgh—sent a letter to the Republican presidential candidate to express concern over his penchant for outsourcing American jobs. We’re pretty sure, but not entirely positive, that Mayor Nutter didn’t dot his I’s with hearts. Also, he decided to pass on the fancy, middle-school fold.
