Get hot and bothered at Supper’s “Fifty Shades” dinner party

Supper is offering up a dinner experience not quite like any other. Live out the dinner of the Masked Ball of Fifty Shades Darker, E L James' racy, sexy, risky best selling novel.

Attend the Masked Ball of Fifty Shades Darker in real life.

If you’ve been pouring over every naughty word of EL James’ trilogy “Fifty Shades”, then we have a big announcement for you. Likely pestered (in many good ways, naturally) by his wife, Jennifer, Supper Philly will host their very own Fifty Shades Dinner.

If you’ll recall from the second book in the series, “Fifty Shades Darker” the Masked Ball provides for some interesting literary enjoyment and a pretty killer dinner menu as well. So, tomorrow night, Supper’s Executive Chef Mitch Prensky will recreate that very dinner.

Guests will start off with salmon tartare, crème fraiche and marinated cucumber, and toasted brioche paired with Alban Estate Roussanne 2006. Then they’ll have roasted duck breast and foie gras with a creamy sunchoke puree, and thyme roasted bing cherries paired with an ’06 Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The third course will bring sugar crusted walnut chiffons with candied figs, sabayon, and maple ice cream serviced with Klein Constantia’s Vin de Constance. Finally, a selection of artisan farmstead cheeses and Housebaked breads will be served with Alban Estate Grenache, freshly brewed Stumptown coffee, and a selection of petits fours

As if the very excitement over eating the exact same meal does get you going, high-end lingerie and toy boutique, Coeur, will be on hand with a one night pop up shop at Supper, featuring a selection of items mentioned in the series, from their Rittenhouse Square store.

The four course menu will set you back $65 per person or $100 if you opt for the wine pairings, too.
