Saturday: Bring Your Own Dog
Chef Guillermo Tellez of Square 1682 is bringing back his BYOD weekend brunch. That’s Bring Your Own Dog for those not in-the-know, on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The BYOD menu includes five canine-fabulous dishes for dogs to enjoy on the patio or to-go, including Lola’s Bowl with beef tartare, raw egg, cooked rice and carrots and Yodi’s Chow with chicken, steal cut oats, seasonal vegetables, white beans and cheddar, all of which were named after a Square 1682 (or adjacent Hotel Palomar) staffer’s pet.
Accompanying each dish will be a bowl of filtered Natura water and an organic treat from Doggie Style and for every canine meal sold, $1 will go to Operation Ava, which will be on site from 11 a.m.-3 p.m with adoptable pets and fun.
Sunday: Father’s Day
Treat pops to a burger and bourbon at Village Whiskey. Read all about it in our post about the Father’s Day special.
