Pet-a-Palooza – Join Weavers Way Pet Supply store and the pet-loving community for an afternoon of all things PETS! Local area animal rescues will attend and exhibitor fee proceeds and raffle sales will benefit participating animal rescue groups. We’ll also have pet food vendors, veterinarians, dog trainers and a slew of other dog professionals will be on hand with samples and other items for sale. There will be a silly pet contest and we’ll wrap up with a pet parade. Of course all well-behaved pets are welcome. Weavers Way Pet Supply store 559 Carpenter Lane, 12-4 pm.
For the third year in a row, on June 14th from 11:30 to 1:30 pm, students from the Art Institute of Philadelphia will repurpose CCD street banners into wearable art. The event features one-of-a-kind, matching dog and dog-walker couture modeled by dogs from PAWS, the local dog animal rescue. 18th & Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
The “With Love – Super Adoption Day” is the largest adoption event in Philadelphia, held on June 22nd from 12 pm pm – 4 pm. Join dozens of rescue groups for a family friendly, festival-like atmosphere with lots of activities and attractions. In the heart of Northern Liberties at the The Piazza at Schmidts. Animal Shelters and Rescues from all over the Philadelphia area will have animals for adoption, local vendors will be selling unique products for people and pets, special guests will be in attendance from national animal welfare figures to local celebrities and live music, demonstrations and contests will entertain the crowds all day.
