Another week, another set of excuses as to why you weren’t keeping up with all the Amazingness that is Philadelphia. Luckily for you, you have us.
The Barnes Foundation went all crazy on us and decided to keep the joint up and running for a stunning 56 hours straight. As if just one night in a museum isn’t bad enough, they are asking for three. In fact, the party is still raging over there through tomorrow at 5ish. If you haven’t been, go. At least to give the hard, sleepless workers some return on their investment.
There’s a horse show that’s come to town. Actually, as the Devon Horse Show has been coming to town for more than 100 some odd years, it’s a pretty big deal. It at least gives hoity-toity women an excuse to wear those ridiculous hats and kids an excuse to roll around in the “mud.”
Finally, Arden Theater has really outdone themselves this time with an original musical about pot, and tulips…but most about pot. Tulipomania kicked off the not suitable for the youngsters last Thursday. Gotta love creative license.
