Happy Hour got you feeling guilty for leaving Fido at home without a walk or bathroom break in hours? Bring him along with you this time.
The folks at the Crosswalk Cafe located on Independence Mall is starting up “Doggie Yappy Hour” tonight from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Working in partnership with Operation Ava and Doggie Style, the hall’s visitor’s center will welcome you and your pup for a work day wind down.
Take a seat outdoors with views of the National Constitution Center, National Museum of American Jewish History and Independence Hall.
“Yappy Hour” will give you specials on the cafes menuslike $1 Hot Dogs and from their bar like $4 Dogfish Head Ale, plus $3 Domestic Bottles. But, unlike other happy hour hot spots, the cafe will also offer special treats for your pet. So sweet, right?!
There’s no official word on what the doggie treats consist of, but we’re imagining bowls of water and biscuits. Yum, delish.
So, grab your pup. Who knows, maybe he’ll attract a special lady friend for either of you while you wind down from the work day.
