I like video games as much as the next guy, as you might have guessed from some of my posts about Assassin’s Creed 3. But, although the 12-year-old me might have told you otherwise, they’re not worth going to jail over.
One man in North Philadelphia seems to think otherwise, though. On Monday afternoon, a 20- to 30-year-old male robbed a Game Stop store on North Broad Street at gunpoint, leaving with a PlayStation 3 and $250 in cash, according to a Philadelphia Police Department report. The suspect reportedly entered the store, browsed around for about 20 minutes, then approached the counter with a handgun when one of the employees went on break.
Wonder if the robber saw any games that he liked while he was perusing the store’s collections? If he gets away with it, he could use the $250 cash he got away with to purchase something that will actually play on that PlayStation 3.
The suspect is described as a black male with dark complexion, light facial hair, a goatee, short hair, a thin build, about 160-170 pounds, 5’9” and wearing a black hoody and faded black jeans.
