Google Maps gives you the perfect look inside your (or your exes) favorite restaurant

Google Maps is rolling out more restaurants as a part of their Indoor Street View feature. The cameras go inside the restaurant to allow potential customers the ability to see inside. But, we think there's a better plan for the cameras.

Google Maps spotted these ladies inside Osteria.

Want another reason to love Google? Check out their new Maps feature. Google Maps is now taking you inside some popular Philadelphia restaurants. Not just the street view, but literally inside.

The idea is to help you see what a restaurant is like before you go. Get a feel for the ambiance, the look, and the style of the place before you schlep out there.

But, naturally, we can think of some better things this could be used for.

Namely, spying.

Long gone are the days when you have to hire a private investigator to do your dirty work. Thanks to the work of internet companies like FourSquare, Twitter, and Facebook you can practically know someone’s entire social schedule without ever speaking with them.

So, now with the help of Google Maps new feature, go inside that restaurant your wife is at with her “girlfriends” and see who she’s really with. Or even better, see how she’s reacting to the hot guys there. Is you boyfriend out with his “mom”? Check in on him and see. Of course, this is perfect for exes. Spy on your exes first date after the big breakup. Or see what your crush is up to when they don’t think you’re around.

Now, you won’t be able to hear anything, so you’ll have to get pretty good at reading lips and body language. But, once you get that down you’ll be the best Peeping Tom around.
