Pot found in man’s car – after it gets pulled it out of a creek

Police in Middle Township, N.J. said they found marijuana in a Philadelphia man’s car – after pulling the vehicle out of a creek into which he allegedly had driven it, according to Shore News Today.

Police said they found Daniel Carty, 31, wandering along Route 47, Wildwood Boulevard, early Sunday morning sometime after 5:30 a.m. He was disoriented, wet and shaking from cold.

He was treated for hypothermia, and the car was pulled out of the water. Police then found what they believed to be marijuana.

Carty has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, and some motor vehicle offenses
